1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FaviconStudio at faviconstudio.com ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of service

FaviconStudio provides free, browser-based tools for creating, converting, checking, and downloading favicons and related web assets. Tools include the favicon generator, PNG-to-ICO converter, SVG-to-favicon converter, favicon checker, and educational guides.

Processing happens locally in your browser where possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features at any time.

3. Your content and licence to us

You retain all rights to images, text, logos, and other material you upload or enter into our tools. FaviconStudio does not claim ownership of your content. Because processing occurs client-side, we do not store your uploaded files on our servers.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any material you upload — including trademarks, copyrighted artwork, and brand assets.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload our servers or infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access in a way that degrades service for other users
• Reverse-engineer or redistribute our tools as a competing hosted service without permission
• Upload malicious files or content designed to harm systems or users

5. Intellectual property

The FaviconStudio name, logo, site design, original guides, blog articles, and tool interfaces are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy entire articles or republish our tools under another brand without written permission.

Icons provided through our icon library are sourced from open-licensed icon sets (such as Lucide) and are subject to their respective licences.

6. Advertising

The Site may display third-party advertisements, including through Google AdSense. Ad content is provided by third parties and we do not endorse advertised products or services. See our Privacy Policy for information on cookies and ad personalisation.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that generated favicons will display correctly on every browser, platform, or device, or that the Site will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaviconStudio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where FaviconStudio operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
