Guides and blog posts on FaviconStudio are provided for general informational purposes. Browser vendors and platforms change favicon behaviour over time. Always verify results in your target browsers and CMS before shipping to production. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice.

Tools and generated files

Favicon generation and conversion run in your browser. We do not warrant that every generated file will display correctly on every device, OS, or legacy client. You are responsible for testing downloads (ICO, PNG and web manifest files) on your own site. The favicon checker reports what our server receives when it requests your page; firewalls, bot protection and caching can make that differ from what a visitor's browser sees.

Your logos and trademarks

You keep all rights to the images and text you use in the tools, and you are responsible for having the right to use them. Because processing happens in your browser, we never receive a copy. Emoji in the generator are drawn with your device's own emoji font, and the icon library uses open-source icons; check the licence of any third-party artwork before using it as a commercial brand mark.

Product names such as Google, Chrome, Safari, WordPress and Shopify are trademarks of their owners. They are mentioned only to explain how favicons work on those platforms; FaviconStudio is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

No sponsored content or affiliate links

Guides are not paid for by the tools or platforms they mention, and links to third-party tools are not affiliate links. If that ever changes, the affected page will say so clearly.

Reporting errors

Browser and platform behaviour changes over time. If a guide is out of date or a tool gives a wrong result, tell us through the contact page. Corrections are checked and published with an updated date, as described in our editorial policy.

Advertising

The site may display third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense) when approved. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. Ad content is chosen by the ad network, not by FaviconStudio editors, except where we configure blocking categories.
