About FaviconStudio
Last updated: May 3, 2026
Our mission
FaviconStudio exists to make professional favicon creation accessible to everyone. Whether you are launching a personal blog, shipping a SaaS product, or updating a Shopify store, you should not need Photoshop, a paid subscription, or design experience to get a complete favicon package.
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your images and designs are processed locally — they are never uploaded to our servers. That privacy-first approach is intentional: favicons often contain logos and brand assets that should stay on your device.
What we offer
FaviconStudio is more than a single generator. It is a small toolkit built around one problem: getting favicons right across browsers, mobile home screens, and PWAs.
- Favicon Generator — create icons from text, uploaded images, emojis, or our icon library
- PNG to ICO — build multi-resolution
favicon.icofiles from any raster image - SVG to Favicon — convert vector logos into a full PNG + ICO + manifest package
- Favicon Checker — audit an existing site's favicon setup and get a fix snippet
- Guides & blog — in-depth tutorials on sizes, formats, WordPress, Shopify, and troubleshooting

Editorial standards
Our blog posts and landing-page guides are written for practitioners — web developers, designers, and business owners who need accurate, actionable information. We test favicon behaviour across modern browsers, document real HTML implementation code, and update guides when platform requirements change (for example, SVG favicon support and PWA manifest requirements in 2026).
We do not scrape or republish content from other sites. Every guide on FaviconStudio is original, maintained by our team, and linked to working tools you can use immediately.
Why it is free
FaviconStudio is supported by advertising (including Google AdSense) and remains free for all users. There are no premium tiers, no watermarks, and no account required. We believe utility tools that solve a narrow problem well should stay accessible — especially for students, hobbyists, and early-stage projects that cannot justify paid design software.
