About FaviconStudio

Last reviewed: August 23, 2026

Who operates this site

FaviconStudio is an independently operated web project maintained by a working web developer. It is not a large company product suite — it is a focused toolkit built to solve one recurring problem well: producing a complete, production-ready favicon set without paid design software, account walls, or uploading brand assets to a third-party server.

Day-to-day responsibility for the tools, guides, privacy policy, and support inbox sits with the site operator. You can reach that person directly at hello@faviconstudio.com or through the contact form.

There is no anonymous content farm behind this domain. Guides are written and revised against live browser behaviour (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and against the actual ZIP output of the generator on this site.

Our mission

FaviconStudio exists to make professional favicon creation accessible. Whether you are launching a personal blog, shipping a SaaS product, or updating a Shopify store, you should not need Photoshop, a paid subscription, or design experience to get a complete favicon package.

Every generator and converter on this site runs in your browser with the Canvas API. Images and designs are processed locally — they are never uploaded to our servers. That privacy-first approach is intentional: favicons often contain logos and brand assets that should stay on your device.

What we offer

  • Favicon Generator — create icons from text, uploaded images, emojis, or the icon library
  • PNG to ICO — build multi-resolution favicon.ico files from any raster image
  • SVG to Favicon — convert vector logos into a PNG + ICO + manifest package
  • Favicon Checker — audit a live site's favicon tags and get a fix snippet
  • Guides & blog — implementation tutorials for HTML, WordPress, Shopify, SVG, sizes, and Google Search

How content is created

Blog posts and landing guides are written for practitioners who need accurate steps, not keyword filler. Each major guide includes:

  • A clear problem statement (what breaks if you skip this)
  • Copy-paste HTML or config examples that match current browser behaviour
  • Notes on what to skip (legacy sizes, outdated tutorials)
  • Links to the matching free tool when a downloadable asset is required

We do not scrape or republish third-party articles. When platform rules change (for example SVG favicon support or PWA manifest expectations), guides are revised and the "last reviewed" date on this page is updated.

Why it is free / how the site is funded

FaviconStudio has no paid tier, no watermarked exports, and no required account. The long-term plan is to support the project with advertising (including Google AdSense once the site is approved) and optional partnerships that do not change the free tool experience.

Until advertising is approved, the site remains fully usable. Ads will never block downloads or require closing a paywall to get your ZIP. See the disclaimer and Privacy Policy for how advertising partners may use cookies if ads are enabled later.

What we will not do

  • Invent fake user counts, star ratings, or testimonials
  • Upload your logo to our servers for "cloud processing"
  • Sell your designs or email address
  • Publish thin doorway pages that only exist to rank for a keyword and bounce
